I’ve just started my rucking journey and this is my third time using the Everyday Rucker 1.0 from Ruck Australia and today I completed my first Parkrun with it on. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this backpack.

It fits my hydration bladder perfectly and feels incredibly comfortable and secure whilst walking and jogging. I have ongoing knee issues and back pain, so finding something adjustable and supportive is really important for me. I love how easily I can adjust the straps to suit my body. I can train without feeling strain or discomfort, which has been a game changer.

One of the biggest surprises has been how much this backpack helps with posture correction. I’ve tried rucking vests before and they never helped my posture at all, but this backpack naturally keeps me upright and supported throughout my walk and run.

The quality feels excellent and it doesn’t bounce or shift while moving. It feels purpose-built, not just like a weighted backpack.

If you’re new to rucking or have joint or back concerns like I do, I highly recommend the Everyday Rucker 1.0. It’s comfortable, supportive, and makes training enjoyable instead of painful. I absolutely love it.

I’ve been rucking for years, ranging from high-intensity runs with light loads to heavy-weight power hikes and the Rucker 1.0 is hands down the most thoughtful piece of gear I’ve ever owned.

I previously relied on a plate carrier, but the moment I switched to the Rucker, I felt an immediate improvement in my posture. The design keeps the weight high and tight, preventing the "slump" common with inferior bags and allowing my running and walking gait to feel much more natural.

The hip belt sits too high and not on my hip. There is a lot of excess strap from the hip belt.
