Ruck Australia Sponsors Event 1 at the 2026 TYR Torian Pro

What a weekend.

We were proud to officially sponsor Event 1 at the 2026 TYR Torian Pro, One of the biggest and most competitive fitness events in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Torian Pro is an official CrossFit Semifinal event, bringing together some of the fittest athletes in the world as they compete for a qualifying spot at the CrossFit Games. Athletes earn their place through the CrossFit season and arrive at Torian Pro to battle for the title of Fittest in Oceania and the opportunity to advance to the Games.

This year’s competition took place in Brisbane across three huge days of elite competition, with athletes pushing themselves through some of the toughest tests in the sport.

For Event 1, Ruck Australia supplied:

• 80 Ruck Australia Everyday Ruckers
• 80 Ruck Australia australian made ruck plates
• 40 male athlete setups with 15kg plates
• 40 female athlete setups with 10kg plates

The event challenged athletes with a brutal 3.2km (2 mile) ruck run up Brisbane’s iconic Mount Coot-tha on the “Powerful Owl” trail, A course that tested endurance, pacing, leg strength, grit, and mental toughness right from the opening event of the weekend.

Seeing 80 elite CrossFit athletes charging up the mountain with loaded rucks was something special.

What made it even better was being able to work alongside the Torian Pro team to gift every athlete their ruck and plate setup to keep after the event. For us, this wasn’t just about sponsoring a workout, it was about introducing more athletes to rucking and giving them equipment they can continue using in their training long after the weekend finished.

Rucking has always been about challenging yourself, building resilience, and bringing people together through movement. To see it featured on one of the biggest stages in CrossFit was a huge moment for both our brand and the growing rucking community here in Australia.
